NHS Acute Trust Services to deliver medical care, services for children and young people, critical care, diagnostic imaging, end of life care, maternity, outpatients, surgery and urgent and emergency care. NHS Community Services to deliver local, accessible services such as district nursing, therapies, phlebotomy, podiatry, treatment room care for patients living in Cheshire and Merseyside. Lot 1: NHS Cheshire and Merseyside ICB has awarded a one year contract via two Direct Award A decisions to an acute secondary care and community care service provider across Cheshire and Merseyside. North Cheshire and Mersey NHS Foundation Trust is a newly formed organisation following acquisition between Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. To note, the acquisition decision was a provider led decision and the combined organisation was established on 1st April 2026. The contract commenced on 1st April 2026 and will expire on the 31st March 2027 with an estimated annual contract value of £420,499,222.
