Description

Following on from Phase 1 GAP analysis a Detailed assessment of the design maturity to verify that the 3D digital model accurately represents the intended design, highlight and Risk, or gaps to filled before tender or by the oncoming Delivery Partner. Proposed scope detail to Include: - TA Design maturity assessment (design gap analysis) - completion based on information available to date. - PDP DCO and Stage 5 design basis - define what standards etc. - PDP design composition (List down PDP design deliverables used for this assessment) - PDP gap analysis exercise: a. Stage 5 design package completion status (% age complete, what is remaining) b. Stage 5 design package approval status and if approved with comments their significance (minor / major) (i.e. AIP approved, significance of any comments) - Define and list down design changes required post PDP work (i.e. DCO Requirements work partially completed or was not considered) - Define design changes made post PDP work (i.e. Update of Arcadis work from Nov 2024 to date) - Design opportunities / VE identification - Design risks emerging from prior to current scope including risks highlighted through gap analysis exercise Schedule of regular review meeting to monitor progress between National Highways and Arcadis to ensure output is met - Final deliverable to be in a report format, which should include the following items: - Design overview background (This section to include PDP design prior to their termination of contract) - Design maturity, design completeness, design work remaining, and design status report - Update around assurance completed by Arcadis under TA role - Design opportunities / VE identification/Efficiencies - Carbon and biodiversity position - PDP DCO and Stage 5 design basis - define what standards etc - Define design changes made post PDP work (i.e. Update of Arcadis work from Nov 2024 to date) - Define and list down design changes required post PDP work (i.e. DCO Requirements work partially completed or was not considered) - Identify areas around design de-risking ahead of / during procurement for National Highways
