S30070 Phase 3 Steady State Assessment

Description

This urgent direct award is required to continue Phase 3 (Structural Assessments) following on from SPaTS2 T0440 which was originally structured in three phases: Phase 1 - Inspection for Assessment (IFA), Phase 2 - Approval in Prinicple (AIP), and Phase 3 Structural Assessment. Phases 1 and 2 have been successfully completed; however, Phase 3 was cancelled due to lack of funding. Funds have now been secured, and immediate commencement is necessary to meet safety and compliance obligations within the East Region. The Consultant previously delivered Phases 1 and 2 under SPaTS2 task T0440 and holds all relevant data and methodologies, making them uniquely positioned to complete Phase 3 without duplication of effort or delay. The scope includes steady-state structural assessments on selected structures identified following RSRFs in the East Region, with deliverables such as final structural assessment reports, calculations, assessment and check certificates, AutoCAD drawings where required, updates to IAMIS (Load Management section), and uploading all relevant documents onto IAMIS. Due to the urgency, technical continuity, and safety-critical nature of the work, this award is justified as an urgent direct award to the existing Consultant.
