Support for Local Government Reorganisation Pre-Decision Preparation

Description

Assisting with the preparation for LGR transition, during the Pre-decision period between submitting the two unitary proposal to MHCLG and the decision on the chosen option (which is expected to be made between May and July 2026). The work will primarily focus on the development of transition plans in support of the two unitary council approach for Oxfordshire and West Berkshire but will also include work with colleagues from Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford City Council in preparation for any decision to implement the options that they are proposing. It may also include work to assist with the consultation and associated campaign that will support the two unitary case until decision.
