Coring Works for Gloucestershire County Council 2023 to 2025

Description

Gloucestershire County Council undertake a coring programme on various road sites on an annual basis. The extent of the sites and the number of cores on each site cannot be pre-determined, however based on previous year's experience and budgets going forward we anticipate between 500 and 1500 cores per year will be required, however this quantity is indicative only and cannot be the guaranteed quantity of cores for either of the contract years.\r The scope of works is:\r • The depth of existing carriageway bituminous layers.\r • Establish if tar is present in the carriageway construction.\r • If tar is suspected that it is tested to establish the PAH content.\r \r We will be using the NEC 4 Engineering and Construction Short contract.\r \r The works will be located across the County.\r \r Duration is 2 years.\r \r The total estimated value of the proposed 2-year coring works contract is £376,000.\r \r Full details available on Procontrcat https://procontract.due-north.com/Procurer/Advert/View?advertId=0e933498-9466-ed11-811b-9f38301b3091&fromAdvertEvent=True
