Description
As part of Defra’s role in delivering strategic compensatory measures via the Marine Recovery Fund (MRF), Defra as the MRF Operator (MRFO) IS seeking expressions of interest from third party delivery partners who may be interested in delivering predator reduction schemes at specific sites likely to be on offshore islands. The location of these sites will be confirmed in due course. The MRFO is also keen to determine availability of excess nesting capacity at developer-led projects that MRFO can purchase compensatory measures for seabird nesting spaces (kittiwake, razorbill and guillemot). The procurement of these measures will be in accordance with PA23.
