Description

The purpose of the requirement is to produce a suite of high-quality datasets at 1 m horizontal resolution derived from a systematic and well-executed aerial LiDAR survey of Wales. An independent quality control exercise will ensure that the quality of the data remains high. Zone 2 South Wales Coastal and Zone 4 South Wales inland — capture and supply LiDAR data for the coastal and inland zones in the South Region. The purpose of the requirement is to produce a suite of high-quality datasets at 1 m horizontal resolution derived from a systematic and well-executed aerial LiDAR survey of South Wales. Independent quality control of supplied data from Lots 1 and 2, to ensure all data is of high-quality and fully compatible in terms of instrumentation, accuracy, spatial positioning and data content.
