Description

The objective of the assignment is to achieve new knowledge about the use and effects of the restorative process after the offence, for victims and perpetrators, administered by the National Mediation Service (Konfliktrådet). Lot 1: The objective of the assignment is to achieve new knowledge about the use and effects of the restorative process after the offence, for victims and perpetrators, administered by the National Mediation Service (Konfliktrådet). There may be elements of a restorative process in the criminal sanctions that are administered by administered by the National Mediation Service (Konfliktrådet) and they may be combined with different access to welfare services. The project shall therefore, among other things, map the content of the criminal sanctions and consequences for victims and perpetrators. It is an independent objective to map the content and effects of these forms of sanctions since the juvenile sanctions differ significantly from other sanctions where the restorative process can be used as a method, It is also an objective that the project identifies the causal effect of the restorative process for relapsing into new offences and different life-course outcomes. The project shall initially investigate the possibilities for conducting such a study as it is considered methodologically, academically and practically demanding to carry out an effect study of the restorative process. The assignment shall result in a written final report that includes results from sub-projects 1A and 1B, in addition to an account of sub-project 1C. The final report shall be made available digitally, and the provider shall be available for presentation of the results during a possible launch of the final report. The provider shall present a preliminary outline of the report by 01.06.2023 at the latest. The deadline for presenting a draft of the report for reading is 01.11.2024. The deadline for submitting the final report is 01.12.2024.
