Description

The framework agreement is to undertake general electrical, mechanical and instrumentation works for schemes covering new works, refurbishment works, replacement works or maintenance works. This agreement is for general electrical, mechanical and instrumentation works for schemes covering new works, refurbishment works, replacement works or maintenance works. The projects will cover a wide range of potable and waste-water infrastructure improvement to offices, treatment works and other operational sites throughout the Wessex Water region. The works include both planned programmes of work and reactive works which require a timely response from the contractor. Works are generally planned based on risk management principles, but occasionally may be reactive to emergency situations, requiring fast track solutions, a collaborative approach and out of hours working. Schemes often consist of elements of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and associated civil engineering works and Suppliers therefore need to be competent in all these aspects. It is expected that the Supplier will use their experience and expertise to find best solutions based on health and safety, customer care, operability, whole life cost, programme, quality and environment.
