Ringaskiddy Deep Water Berth Re-Surfacing Works

Description

This project involves the re-surfacing of multiple designated areas within the operational zone of the Deep Water Berth (DWB) at Ringaskiddy Port. The works are primarily aimed at improving the pavement integrity, operational durability, and surface finish across trafficked quay areas and associated access routes where previous surface degradation or material inconsistency has been identified. The re-surfacing scope covers approximately 4800 m2 and is divided into distinct work zones, each with site-specific interventions involving the removal of existing paving units, bedding layers, or asphalt and concrete surfacing, followed by reinstatement using compliant bituminous materials.
