MontyNet 2.0 Wireless Infrastructure – Upgrade of Wireless Services across Clackmannanshire Education Estate

The Council seeks a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to upgrade wireless infrastructure across the Clackmannanshire education estate. This includes the supply, configuration, and installation of wireless access points and controllers, decommissioning of legacy hardware, and integration with the Council’s existing network. The solution must support high-density usage in school environments, ensure minimal disruption to educational services, and be PSN-compliant. Ongoing support and maintenance will also form part of the contract. Lot 1: The contract is for the supply, installation, configuration, and support of a next-generation wireless infrastructure across the education estate in Clackmannanshire. This includes the decommissioning of legacy wireless access points, supply of new Wi-Fi 6 or equivalent access points and associated controllers, configuration to support high-density environments, and integration with existing network and security infrastructure. The solution must be PSN-compliant, support VLAN segregation, and ensure secure and resilient connectivity across all sites. Training, documentation, and support services must be provided as part of the contract. Installation should be timed to minimise disruption to learners and staff.
