A key feature was the development of a single-site diagnostic model, bringing together NHS and independent sector provision in one location to improve access, efficiency and patient experience.<br/>WHI is a longstanding provider at the Eccleshill site and delivers a range of diagnostic services that form an integral part of the CDC model:<br/>• Endoscopy<br/>• Urology<br/>• Gynae<br/>• Radiology<br/>• Phlebotomy<br/>• Physiological Sciences<br/><br/>These services are co-located with Trust services and operate as part of shared clinical pathways.<br/><br/>The relevant authority intends to award a contract to the existing provider, WHI, following the application of Direct Award Process C under the Provider Selection Regime.<br/><br/>This is a one year contract with service intended to run from 01/04/2026 to 31/03/2027 valued at £6,500,000 with the opportunity to extend for a further two years which bring the approximate total lifetime value of the contract to £19,500,000.00
