NWUPC are undertaking market engagement for the renewal of the HE Sector Framework Agreement for Soft Furnishings accessed by NWUPC members and the members of the other participating regional consortia- APUC, CPC, HEPCW, LUPC, NEUPC, and SUPC. The agreement covers bedding and bathroom textiles, student kitchen starter packs and window coverings. NWUPC are seeking the input of the market on several areas to help inform the structure of the Framework and the scope of requirements. Under the current agreement, lot 1 includes the following scope: Bedding and Bathroom Textiles and Associated Student Accommodation Products-sheets, duvets, pillows, duvet covers, pillow cases, mattress and bedding protectors, blankets, bedding packs, towels, face cloths, bath mats (fabric and non-slip), shower curtains, associated products including but not limited to waste paper baskets, bathroom accessories and coat hangers for student and conference use. Under the current agreement, lot 2 includes the following scope: Student Kitchen Starter Packs-tea towels, pans, chopping boards, cutlery and crockery, glassware, stoneware, plastic tableware, food preparation knifes and food preparation aids including utensils, tin openers, baking sheets, cork screw and bottle openers. Student Kitchen Starter Packs are to be contained within suitable recyclable packaging with carry handles / holes for student use. Under the current agreement, lot 3 includes the following scope: Window Coverings - supply only and supply and installation of a range of curtains and blinds including manual and electric roller blinds, venetian blinds, and vertical blinds. Window Coverings will include black out, dim out, lined and none lined products as well as window films and the provision of added value services including cleaning, repair and maintenance.
