UCD is planning the campus for the University's future needs and our vision for the future as Ireland’s Global University, is that UCD will rise to the global challenges of the future by pursuing four strategic themes: Creating a Sustainable Global Society; Transforming through Digital Technology; Building a Healthy World; and Empowering Humanity. These strategic themes will shape our research, our teaching and learning and the way we behave and function as a community and as an institution. It is expected that any future competition will be for the provision of dedicated on-site hands-on technical support staff to provide BMS maintenance, programming and electrical control services, outside lighting maintenance and energy and water metering connectivity support. This sounding exercise is to obtain information in relation to the alternative market interest in responding to any future competitions for the provision of these services and to meet with prospective tenderers.
