Description
The study will aim at monitoring the impact and effectiveness of the MoU of the Commission on the online advertising market. The focus of the study shall be tracking the advertising displayed on websites and mobile apps that infringe copyright or sell/offer counterfeit products. Lot 1: The activity aims to monitor the impact and effectiveness of the MoU on the online advertising market. The specific objectives of the activity are: • evaluating the estimated amount and type of online advertising displayed on IPR-infringing services; • estimating the ad revenues collected by IPR-infringing service owners; Conclusions on the impact and effectiveness of the MoU on the online advertising market will be key elements for the European Commission’s annual overview report on the MoU’s functioning and effectiveness.
