Technical Assistance for Implementation Support to the Ukraine Urban Public Transport Project

Description

The overall objective of the Technical Assistance (TA) operation is to contribute to facilitating the restructuring and modernisation of Ukraine's urban public transport sector and gradual approximation towards operating standards and policies comparable to those in the EU. The specific objective of this TA operation is to assist the Ministry of Infrastructure and several cities in the successful implementation of the Ukraine Urban Public Transport Project to the required quality, on time and within budget; and to build project management capacity in the Ministry of Infrastructure and on the final beneficiaries/city level. The expected outputs of this TA operation are: sustainable urban mobility and city sector reform plans, public service contracts, the sub-projects’ feasibility studies, assessments, procurement documents, monitoring and evaluation reports. The TA operation is to be delivered by a team comprising international and local experts with relevant background and experience in similar projects in transport infrastructure and/or municipal sector.
