Aufbau einer WLAN-Infrastruktur für Fahrzeuge und stationäre Hotspots Die SWK Mobil plant einen sukzessiven Aufbau von WLAN-Infrastruktur für Fahrzeuge und stationäre Hotspots. Der Ausbau der WLAN-Infrastruktur ermöglicht den Fahrgästen der SWK Mobil einen schnellen, einfachen und für den Fahrgast kostenlosen Zugang zum Internet und stellt damit eine wesentliche Steigerung der Attraktivität des OPNV dar. Es werden hierzu bis Ende 2019 insgesamt 31 Straßenbahnen, 92 Busse (87 SWK-eigene- und 5 SWK-Subunternehmer-Busse) sowie optional 30 stationäre Hotspots im lnnenstadtbereich mit WLAN-Infrastruktur ausgestattet sein.
