Description
Cornwall Council (CC) is conducting a soft market assessment to gain feedback across the private sector for a proposed concession contract to design, build, fund, operate and maintain a deep geothermal district heating network at Langarth Garden Village (LGV), Truro. This is a key opportunity to get involved in the UK’s first deep geothermal heat network serving residential customers, via a concession agreement. Subject to responses received from the market, a procurement will then be undertaken from late June 2025. An online supplier engagement introducing the soft market test will be held on Monday 24th March 2025 at 1400 via Microsoft Teams. Attendance at this event is not mandatory, and a recording of this event, plus any questions and answers, will be made publicly available.
