Description

The contract specified is to resurface bus laybys and small roundabouts, it is our job in Highways, as the Asset Owner, to continuously drive innovation and identify materials that offer an increased performance compared to the day to day bituminous products. We know we have an ongoing maintenance liability especially with bus laybys, where buses idle causing over time deformation to the surface, as well as leaking fuel that penetrates and contributes to the rate of deterioration. The works are to be supplied and delivered directly by the chosen contractor, Miles Macadam Ltd within the agreed contract period. ## Contract award
