Barnfield College - Multi Dis Design Team

Description

The Contracting Authority (Barnfield College) intends to appoint multi-disciplinary design team to assist the development of its new campus. The project involves the creation of 17,000m2 of specialist and innovative education facilities on a new site in the center of Luton. It is anticipated that the total project cost will be GBP 60-70m.The development is to be completed for September 2020.A complete 'one stop shop' of design services is required to provide a co-ordinated and integrated design service for the new facilities. The design services will comprise:(i) architectural design; (ii) catering design; (iii) acoustic consultancy; (iv) fire consultancy; (v) landscape design; (vi) principal designer; (vii) mechanical and electrical engineering design; (viii) structural engineering design; and (ix) fixtures, fittings and equipment consultancy.The appointment of the above services under a this procurement exercise will be from RIBA Stage 0 - 7.
