Summary of the work The requirement is for an agency to develop and implement digital marketing campaigns via LinkedIn and to potentially carry out additional work such as email marketing and paid search. Expected Contract Length 2 years, with an optional extension of up to 6 months Latest start date Monday 1 August 2022 Budget Range The maximum budget for the LinkedIn campaigns is £7500 based on half a day per month for 30 months at £500 per day (£250 per half day). A maximum budget of £60,000 will be allocated for the paid LinkedIn fee (to include the agency's credit card management fee) at £2000 per month for 30 months. A maximum daily rate of £500 for additional work, if and as required, giving a total budget of £15,000 for additional work (ie email marketing and paid search). Please be aware that there is no commitment to spend the above figures. Why the Work is Being Done The purpose of the work is to assist the University with the process of recruiting delegates onto our Help to Grow Management Programme via targeted Linked In campaigns. The requirement is for an agency to develop and implement targeted LinkedIn campaigns to provide leads for eligible businesses on the Help to Grow Management Programme planned cohorts. We require the agency to allocate half a day per month for the LinkedIn campaigns. The University may also require additional work such as email marketing and paid search (ie Google and Bing). However, this additional work is not guaranteed and will be undertaken as and when required. For more information on the H2GM Programme, please follow this link: https://smallbusinesscharter.org/help-to-grow-management/ Therefore, the agency is required to advertise and generate leads and conversions for the programme via Linked In and develop digital marketing campaigns on the platform in order to draw attention to and encourage small business owners to join the programme. Problem to Be Solved Recruitment onto the programme can be difficult, so the University is looking for a team of people to assist in raising awareness of the programme via social media and digital marketing campaigns. The aim is to encourage small business owners to sign up to the programme and therefore increase the number of delegates who will be participating in each cohort via digital recruitment. Who Are the Users The Creative Leadership & Enterprise Centre (CLEC) team at Cardiff Metropolitan University need to raise awareness of the Help to Grow Management Programme and encourage delegates to join the programme, so that we can increase the number of delegates that we are recruiting to each of the programme cohorts. Work Already Done The delegates on the current cohort have been recruited via in- house marketing campaigns and Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) national and targeted marketing campaigns. Existing Team The existing team consists of a Help to Grow Management programme director and the centres digital marketing co-ordinator. Current Phase Live Skills & Experience • Experience of promoting and recruiting candidates onto leadership and management programmes specifically tailored for SME’s • Experience of using social media and digital marketing channels and techniques to raise awareness and drive leads and conversions. • Experience of implementing methods for identifying and measuring uptake as a result of the campaigns • Experience of designing and producing engaging email marketing campaigns Nice to Haves • Have experience of providing training in the use of a variety of digital marketing platforms • Have an understanding of writing for the web and digital channels, including tone of voice, reader engagement and content creation. Work Location The supplier will be required to work remotely. Working Arrangments There is no requirement for the supplier to work from any of the University's campuses. The supplier will work remotely and communicate with the CLEC team virtually via Microsoft Teams.
