This project has now been awarded and is for information purposes only. Central Bedfordshire Council is seeking expressions of interest in relation to the below works at the Kingsland Campus in Houghton Regis. The estimated project value is in the region of £100k - £140k. 1. New external sub main installation to serve 2 no new panel boards and all associated ground works including ducting and making good to tarmac area. (start date mon 21st December 2015 - completion no later than 28th December 2015) 2. Removal of 2no existing bus bars and 2 new panelboard installation (Start time 28th December 2015 – completion no later than 31st December 2015) Please note that this date cannot be changed due to restricted leisure centre closing times. 3. Remedial works (start January 2015 ) 4. New distribution board installation (start January 2015 ) 5. New containment and internal sub main installation (start January 2015 ) 6. Alteration to the existing fire alarm system (start January 2015 ) 7. New lighting installation (start January 2015 ) 8. Removal of ceilings in changing rooms and new ceiling installation (start January 2015 ) 9. Testing and commissioning Please note that dates in point 1 & 2 cannot be altered and the successful contractor will be require to work during Boxing Day to complete all works on time.
