Clyde Tunnel and Shieldhall Overpass Concrete Repairs and Cathodic Protection

Description

Concrete repairs in the pedestrian tunnel and adjacent ventilation voids (confined spaces) to the structures supporting the road deck in both bores; upgrading of the existing cathodic protection system; the removal of the existing lighting in the pedestrian tunnels; the design and installation of new LED lighting in the pedestrian tunnels and the removal and replacement of the surface course road surfacing on both road decks of the Tunnel. At Shieldhall Overpass, concrete repairs to the crossheads and supporting columns at 12 piers; installation of a cathodic protection system; renewal of expansion joints and road surfacing on both carriageways of the bridge deck.
