daa plc

Description

daa is undertaking a market engagement exercise to understand current industry capability in relation to specialist hazardous‑materials compliance services within the built environment. This exercise forms part of our wider statutory‑compliance and asset‑risk management programme. Recent legislative changes including S.I. No. 632/2025 and EU Directive 2023/2668 have introduced enhanced requirements for organisations providing regulated materials‑removal services, including new licensing, medical surveillance obligations and strengthened standards. We are assessing the market’s ability to meet these updated statutory requirements under a potential multi‑year framework agreement. The purpose of this soft market test is to: • Understand supplier readiness under the new regulatory regime • Assess market capacity for delivering works in complex, safety‑critical environments • Inform the structure, scope and commercial model • Identify any constraints, risks, or enablers that should be addressed in tender documentation daa is undertaking a market engagement exercise to understand current industry capability in relation to specialist hazardous‑materials compliance services within the built environment.
