Description

Hackney Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced operator to manage, operate, maintain and develop the Council’s public tennis facilities and deliver a borough-wide community tennis development programme under a concession contract arrangement. The Concessionaire will be responsible for the operation of public tennis courts and associated facilities, including programming, bookings, customer service, maintenance, coaching, outreach activities and inclusive participation initiatives. The contract will operate as a concession arrangement whereby the appointed operator will retain income generated from the services and pay a concession fee to the Council. The initial contract term will be five (5) years with an option to extend for up to a further two (2) years. The procurement is being conducted using the Open Procedure in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023.
