DkIT - Supply, Delivery, Installation & Commissioning of a New Gearbox for Vestas V52 Wind Turbine.

Description

Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning for a gearbox for Vestas V52 Wind turbine. A single Vestas V52 wind turbine has been operating on the campus as a wind auto producer since October 2005. The wind turbine is rated at 850kW, has a hub height of 60m and a rotor diameter of 52m. It is a semi-variable speed machine with a gearbox and DFIG generator. The gearbox, which is the original gearbox since the installation of the turbine, now needs replacing. Tenders are sought for a NEW gearbox only. Second hand or Refurbished Gear boxes will not be accepted. The gearbox to be replaced is a Metso. A newly manufactured gearbox with all auxiliaries for the Vestas V52 wind turbine must be a specified gearbox by Vestas or by a current Vestas preferred gearbox supplier company.
