Castletownbere Water Metering and Power Infrastructure Upgrade Works

Description

Works to be provided by the Contractor as part of their obligations includes but is not limited to the following: • Removal of existing 7 No. power boxes on the Mainland Quay • Supply and installation of multiservice meter pedestals in existing concrete enclosures on the Mainland Quay • Supply and installation of bespoke remote services outlet boxes on the Mainland Quay • Removal of main distribution pillar for pontoon pedestals and removal of 5 No. pedestals • Supply and installation of 7 No. new Rolec Smartmaster Solo pedestals for water and power (or equal and approved) • Removal of existing 3 No. power boxes on the Synchrolift area on Dinish Island • Supply and installation of multiservice meter pedestals in two existing concrete enclosures and in one new concrete enclosure in the Synchrolift area on Dinish Island and in three new concrete enclosures on The Dinish Island Quay and Wharf Extension. • Supply and installation of bespoke remote services outlet boxes on Dinish Island Quay and in the Synchrolift area • Supply and installation of water service pipes and cable ducting • Disconnect and remove existing main distribution board in Switchroom No. 2. • Supply and installation of new main electrical distribution panel (MDB-02) in Switchroom No.2. • Supply and installation of all mechanical and electrical ancillaries to the Works • Supply and installation of all civil and building materials for the Works • Excavation for trenches and reinstatement on the Mainland Quay, Dinish Island Quay/Wharf/Wharf Extension and Synchrolift area • Connections to live services – water and electrical • Disposal of waste and surplus spoil • Site set-up, site security, traffic management, safe access • PSCS role for the duration of the works • All ancillary works required for the proper execution of the Works
