This notice is to advise the market that NHS National Services Scotland has awarded a Category A national collaborative framework agreement for Hernia Repair Products on behalf of all NHS Scotland Health Boards. The framework enables national access to the awarded products and provides for delivery to the National Distribution Centre (NDC) and/or directly to hospitals across Scotland. Lot 1: Flat Mesh We require Intraperitoneal Mesh which is primarily used in incisional hernia repair and available in a range of sizes which will be used throughout NHS Scotland by suitably qualified clinical staff. Lot 2: Intraperitoneal Mesh We require Intraperitoneal Mesh which is primarily used in incisional hernia repair and available in a range of sizes which will be used throughout NHS Scotland by suitably qualified clinical staff. Lot 3: Preformed Mesh We require Preformed Mesh which is primarily for hernia repair for use in both Open and Laparoscopic Procedures, which will be used throughout NHS Scotland by suitably qualified clinical staff. Lot 4: Self Fixating Mesh We require Self Fixating Mesh which is used for hernia repair, which will be used throughout NHS Scotland by suitably qualified clinical staff. Lot 5: Synthetic Absorbable Mesh which We require Synthetic Absorbable Mesh which is primarily for hernia repair, which will be used throughout NHS Scotland by suitably qualified clinical staff Lot 6: Biologically-Derived Implant We require a Biologically-Derived Implant which is primarily for hernia repair, which will be used throughout NHS Scotland by suitably qualified clinical staff. Lot 9: Hernia Mesh Fixation Device which distributes glue We require a Hernia Mesh Fixation Device which distributes glue which is used for hernia repair and will be used across NHS Scotland by suitably trained personnel. Lot 10: Innovation Lot 10 Innovation is Unscored Suppliers from Lots 1 - 9 automatically added to lot The lot will permit bidders to include newly developed products and to the framework. Lot 8: Hernia Mesh Fixation Device which distributes non-absorbable tackers We require a Hernia Mesh Fixation Device which distributes non-absorbable tackers which is used for hernia repair and will be used across NHS Scotland by suitably trained personnel. Lot 7: Hernia Mesh Fixation Device which distributes absorbable tackers We require a Hernia Mesh Fixation Device which distributes non-absorbable tackers which is used for hernia repair and will be used across NHS Scotland by suitably trained personnel.
