Provision of Human Resources support services to Clare County Council Tourism Subsidiary Companies

Description

Clare County Council operates several tourism special purpose vehicles, such as the parent company for the Cliffs of Moher DAC and Kilrush Amenity Trust. The Cliffs of Moher Centre DAC (COMCDAC) which operates the Cliffs of Moher Experience and Kilrush Amenity Trust CLG which operates Vandeleur Walled Gardens and Loop head Lighthouse. The Council is also in the process of developing Inis Cealtra (Holy Island) visitor experience and also has extensive experience in managing sustainable tourism development having secured and retained UNESCO Accreditation for the Burren and Cliffs of Moher UNESCO Global Geopark. Clare County Council has engaged with Shannon Group to commence a Due Diligence Process to consider the potential transfer by Shannon Group PLC of Shannon Heritage (Clare based sites) to Clare County Council as a subsidiary Company. Subject to government approval the existing Shannon Heritage employees will remain as Shannon Heritage DAC employees with Clare County Council replacing Shannon Group PLC as parent company and shareholder. Clare County Council requires the services of Human Resources consultant to provide HR services as outlined in the attached TRD to the tourism subsidiary companies.
