Further Market Engagement - Domestic Abuse accommodation

UPDATED - Following on from previous engagement the Council are considering a different approach and are keen to engage with providers. Cheshire West and Chester Council is seeking views on a potential model for the future Safe Accommodation Service. We are considering going out to the market solely for the support element of a safe accommodation service. We are interested in understanding the views of support providers and accommodation providers in this approach. If the accommodation element were to be brought in house within the council’s housing management function are RSL’s willing to work with the council in leasing/management arrangements and are support providers interested in bidding. The budget for the support element would be in the region of £518,000 Previous - Cheshire West and Chester Council is seeking to commission a service to deliver safe accommodation for individuals and families fleeing domestic abuse within the borough.
