The granite benches are an integral part of the public realm on the Kingsway, and some of the benches ordered by Dawnus have already been shipped to the UK. The project involves the supply of granite benches following Dawnus going into administration. The bespoke granite benches that were ordered by Dawnus and shipped to the UK have not been paid for, and the remainder of the benches required will need to match those already made. Time savings are critical, and the supplier has already carried out the design of the remaining benches.
