AN POST requires the services of a suitably qualified and experienced company to provide a cost efficient, competent and sustainable service for Maintenance Services of Mail Automation Sortation Equipment. Currently, AN POST has 16 (NEC and Leonardo) Letter and Flats Sorting Machines and 2 Parcel & Packet Sorting machines (Beumer) currently located in 3 Mail Centres: • Dublin Mail Centre / Dublin Parcel Hub, Oak Road, Dublin 12; D12 V4AC • Portlaoise Mail Centre, Father Brown Avenue, Portlaoise, Co. Laois; R32 A32F • Athlone Mail Centre, Athlone Business Park, Dublin Road, Athlone, Co. Westmeath N37 FF68 AN POST also has two conveyor installations one each located in Dublin and Portlaoise. All Applicants should be aware that Transfer of Undertakings (TUPE) may apply to the Contract. The existing service provider has 34 dedicated staff located in the mail centres to meet AN POSTs service requirements. The requirement may vary during the term of the Contract depending on operational requirements meaning that additional staff, sites or equipment may be added or removed.
