Contract Title: Antill Road, Learning Disability Day Activities Intend to publish tender: September 2026 Initial Contract Duration 1 year Extensions: No extensions are currently proposed. Final contract arrangements will be confirmed within the procurement documentation This is a Market Engagement Notice to undertake preliminary market engagement with suppliers that may be interested in discussing with Commissioners the requirements of the Antill Road service, sharing their experience of best practice in day activities provision and applying for this future contract opportunity. The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking an experienced provider to deliver a specialist Learning Disability Day Opportunities Service from the Council-owned Antill Road site. The service will provide personalised, strengths-based and outcome-focused support for adults with learning disabilities and autism, including individuals with complex needs, behaviours that challenge and significant health needs. The service will offer a flexible programme of centre-based and community-based activities that promote independence, wellbeing, social inclusion, skill development, employment opportunities and meaningful participation in community life. Providers will be expected to deliver high-quality, person-centred support that enables individuals to achieve their goals, maximise independence and live fulfilling lives, while working collaboratively with families, carers, health professionals and other key partners To provide potential suppliers with more information about the upcoming opportunity the Council wishes to engage with the market to help shape the final model of delivery. We are hosting an online Market Engagement event that will take place on MS Teams on Wednesday 16th August 2026, at 3pm to 4pm (via Microsoft Teams). The session is advertised openly using this notice. Additional Information: Suppliers wishing to attend the Market Engagement event must register their interest via the London Tenders Portal (www.londontenders.org) where the documentation will be available for download in the future) by Tuesday 15th September 2026 at 12.00pm. Invitations and joining instructions will be issued following registration. Supplies should note that email submissions will be rejected.
