Description

Agder Energi Nett AS (AEN) intends to enter into a framework agreement with Nortroll AS for the delivery of a remote control system for DN switches. In order to comply with the preparedness regulations' requirements for first respond preparedness, AEN has conducted a thorough assessment of the contract based on the following: the remote control of switches is dependent on a radio signal system. Nortroll AS has a permission from the Norwegian Communications Authority (NKOM) for using frequencies in the VHF band, which is beneficial for AEN. NKOM is not issuing any more licences. Nortroll AS has previously delivered to AEN a RTU system for 400 switch points. AEN is totally dependent on components and necessary support in connection with error recovery and maintenance.
