1 Sensory Modulation Space for Wexford Public Library

Wexford Public Library (Wexford County Council) wishes to seek the supply of 1 sensory modulation spaces (with the possibility of a second) - the delivery, assembly and maintenance to encompass an easy to use, multi-sensory space solution across one of its branches (one sensory modulation space in each location). Current Branch location for the equipment includes the following: Wexford Town Library, Mallin Street, Wexford, Co. Wexford. Y35 AY20 The objective of including a sensory modulation space is to make our libraries more attractive to neurodivergent people, to help reduce stress and anxiety and assist in sensory regulation. The equipment and services supplied will be tailored to suit the size and service requirements of each relevant branch and will be: • Equipment and any app technology associated must be GDPR compliant- The tenderer should indicate what protocol it uses to transmit data and specify standard met or procedure in place to maintain secure transmission of data. Web server must be based in EU. • Free standing and easy to use • Hygienic- have wipe down surfaces • Wheelchair accessible • Able to fit 2-3 people at a minimum • Require no building alterations • Provide an integrated touch screen, video projection and sound • Provide multiple sensory technology and software support and upgrades • Provision of anti virus software for a duration of 12 months if applicable to equipment • Provide a customer app that allows customers to have a personalised experience. App should allow library user to tailor their experience for the sensory modulation space and remember the users individualised preference of program for next visit. App must work across the current and future installations of sensory modulation equipment. • Provide seating • Provide staff training • User of the space must be visible from the outside • Equipment provided should be covered by a 24 month warranty • The sensory modulation spaces will be located on the top floor of our branch. Sensory modulation Spaces should not be larger than 2.5m x 2.5m x 2.5m.
