The works that form part of the Presentation De La Salle College - Safe Routes to School scheme comprise a variety of works which include, but is not limited to, the following elements: • Renewal of existing road markings and overall road signage. • Provision of new road markings and road signage. • Junction tightening at priority junctions. • Provision of uncontrolled pedestrian crossings at priority junctions. • Upgrades to the existing zebra crossing and construction of a new zebra crossing. • Construction of a new footpaths. • Provision of Safe Routes to School features such as school warning signs and school gateway road markings to demarcate the school zone. • Drainage works. • Public Lighting works. The works will be carried out over a section of R724 in Bagenalstown County Carlow.
