Open List for General Practice in Buckinghamshire to provide Public Health Services

<p>Buckinghamshire Council (BC) is seeking to create an open list of General Practice to provide a range of public health services to Buckinghamshire residents. &nbsp;These services are:</p> <p>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; NHS Health Checks&nbsp;</p> <p>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC)</p> <p>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Continued prescribing of Opiate Substitution Therapy (OST) for illicit opioid dependency</p> <p>· &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Continued prescribing of alcohol relapse prevention medication</p> <p>General Practices will need to be registered with the General Medical Council, have premises registered in Buckinghamshire and have appropriately qualified staff able to deliver the services.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The Open List will be open for new applications from the date of publication of the documents and will remain open for new applications from General Practices at any time during the Open List term.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Successful applicants will be required to sign the Public Health Services Contract.</p> <p><br>You will be required to have appropriately robust financial status, Insurance levels as detailed in the contract and appropriate safeguarding measures are in place e.g. DBS check of relevant staff. These must be provided to the Council on request.</p> <p>General Practices delivering services on behalf of BC must be able to provide services that are responsive to the needs of different groups in the community.</p> <p>This is not a competitive tender process but General Practices wishing to express their interest in delivering services are requested to register on the Council’s portal &nbsp;www.supplybucksbusiness.org.uk &nbsp;The relevant documentation (specifications, contract and response form) will be available there for download.</p> <p>Services start date: 1 April 2023</p> <p>Contract period: 5 years</p> <p>Value of all contracts: The available annual budget for these services is £735,000. &nbsp;Individual General Practice contract values will be dependent on the services provided and demand for them.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: &quot;Calibri&quot;, sans-serif"><span style="color: rgba(11, 12, 12, 1)">&nbsp;</span></span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> Keywords: General, Health, Practice
