Quarterly report for the contracts awarded between 01.10.24 - 31.12.24. WM5G Limited - a subsidiary of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) - has been leading pioneering work to accelerate the deployment of digital connectivity and to test and prove opportunities to transform key sectors sensors, data and digital connectivity. WM5G is now looking to scale-up and accelerate the adoption of these technology services across the West Midlands in order to deliver radically more effective and efficient services and boost economic recovery and growth and increase digital inclusion. WM5G is establishing a collaborative Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for a range of services relating to the transformation of systems and services and the acceleration and scaling of 5G* adoption in key sectors - with an initial focus on advanced manufacturing and social care/smart communities. Lot 1: Contract for a provider to design, install, integrate, optimise a future proofed 5G Mobile Private Network in a West Midlands manufacturing facility. Working with 3rd party manufacturing teams and their existing supplier ecosystem to provide and end to end solution to enable the delivery of onsite trials.
