Crescent Purchasing Consortium are looking to establish a framework agreement to commence on 9th August 2022 for software provision for Microsoft, Adobe and other off the shelf software mainly aimed at schools and academies including Multi-Academy Trusts, but potentially also open to the wider public sector following consultation with the marketplace under this exercise. This PIN has been published to gain pre-market engagement to develop the scope and lot structure of the resulting agreement. A list of members can be viewed by clicking on the institution type to filter by schools and academies at the below link: https://www.thecpc.ac.uk/members/ Future members of the CPC will be from the education sector, with details available here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/get-information-about-schools Membership of CPC is free for Institutions, and there is no mandate upon members to use the agreement put in place. Funding for CPC's services is provided by retrospective marketing premiums from approved suppliers, based on spend with CPC members. Local Authorities may also wish to use the resulting agreement when procuring on behalf of Educational Establishments for schools and academies. CPC reserves the right during the period of this agreement to make additions to or subtractions from the list of participating member Institutions. CPC is part of the CPL Group. CPL Group is owned by the education sector and is comprised of three not-for-profit procurement organisations that provide support and services to educational establishments and the wider public sector; Crescent Purchasing Consortium, Tenet Education Services and Tenet Procurement Services. Further details can be found at the below link: https://cpl.group/ Potentially at some point during the life of the agreement the current members of the following public sector organisations may wish to utilise the agreement and should have access at any point with the express permission of CPL Group through its group company Tenet Procurement Services which operates in the wider public sector (dependant on this consultation exercise). This agreement is not intended to replace any current agreements that either participating or non-participating Institutions may already have in place. https://www.thecpc.ac.uk/suppliers/eligible-public-sector-bodies.php Lot 1: Microsoft This lot includes but is not limited to the following supplies and services: Microsoft requirements to include but not limited to: the initial supply and renewal of a range of Microsoft licensing types plus it covers additional services associated with Microsoft licensing including; the identification of types of licenses required, providing ongoing advice, deployment of licenses, ongoing support and guidance to ensure members have the correct licensing solution for their institution. Additional information: The above may change due to the pre market engagement as part of this exercise. It is possible to include Microsoft Dynamics 365. Lot 2: Adobe This lot includes but is not limited to the following supplies and services: the initial supply and renewal of a range of Adobe licensing types plus it covers additional services associated with Adobe licensing including: the identification of types of licenses required, providing ongoing advice, deployment of licenses, ongoing support and guidance to ensure members have the correct licensing solution for their institution. Lot 3: Other Off the Shelf Software This lot includes but is not limited to the following supplies and services: the initial supply and renewal of a range of other off the shelf software ranging from security, antivirus and backup software through to music/film editing software and speech recognition software. It also covers additional services associated with software licensing including: the identification of types of licenses required, providing ongoing advice, deployment of licenses, ongoing support and guidance to ensure members have the correct licensing solution for their institution.
