PRO004875 - Services-Framework-Repair and Maintenance of Actuators and Valves

Description

This tender is being launched to meet United Utilities requirements for repair and maintenance of actuators and valves across our sites. It will run for up to a maximum of six years, starting with an initial two year period. Lot 1 – Repair and Maintenance of Actuators The scope of Services covers the repair and overhaul of electric actuator(s), and both reactive and planned activities covered by the scope, will extend to hire or the loan of the electric actuator during the repair. In summary the scope includes the following should it be required:  • Disconnection & Removal of the electric actuator   • Transportation of the electric actuator to and from site   • A detailed Strip & Report   • Overhaul, Repair or proactive Servicing of the electric actuator(s)  • Reinstallation of the electric actuator  • Testing of the electric actuator (FAT & SAT)  • On site emergency repairs to ‘make safe’  • Supply of replacement electric actuator(s)   • Hire of electric actuators  • Technical support incl. training    Specifically excluded is:  • Electrical isolation   • Complex removals that may have CDM ramifications  • On site subcontracting  Lot 2 – Repair and Maintenance of Valves This scope of Services covers the repair and overhaul of valve assets that are used on Company sites, predominantly reactive repairs as planned inspection activities are carried out by Company staff. Beyond the actual repair activity, the scope includes the following (should it be required)  • Disconnection of asset  • Transportation of assets to and from site   • Reinstallation of asset  • Testing of asset  • ‘unceasing’ the valve  • Supply of replacement valves    Specifically excluded is:  • ‘Supported’ work • Complex removals that may have CDM ramifications  • On site subcontracting  • Specialist safety critical valve repairs (such as chlorine valves) Lot 104790: PRO004875 - Lot 1 Actuators Repair and Maintenance of Actuators Lot 104791: PRO004875 - Lot 2 Valves Repair and Maintenance of Valves
