Bergen Municipality, the Agency for Development, hereby invites tenderers to a contest for a contract for B0980 EFU-10267 Kalfarveien nursery, turnkey contract. Bergen Municipality, c/o the Agency for Development will renovate Kalfaret nursery. The nursery will have a capacity for at least 60 children. The aim is to create a safe, stimulating and educational nursery for children in the district for many years to come. Emphasis is put on the fact that the nursery, which is located in the residential area Kalfaret, must be a natural gathering place with safe, good surroundings. The building that is to be renovated is of historical interest, a Swiss villa from 1 870. The most important parts of the current facade design must be kept, with copies of the window design, mouldings and other decorations. The decoration work must be carried out in cooperation with Bergen Municipality's own building maintenance department, which will be in charge of the disassembly, improvements and reassembly of the decoration details. The roof must be replaced and rebuilt with slating, new roof windows and maintained chimneys. The external joinery and painting work are to be carried out after accrued time, and they must be carried out in cooperation with the Municipality's own tradesmen. Good external drainage must be in place around the building and the basement must have damp proofing. The outside areas are to be developed into functional and attractive play areas that are suitable for the nursery's different age groups. The building is to be renovated and altered internally to a functional and serviceable nursery, in accordance with the standard description for nurseries. The project is planned with a turnkey contract, with a relatively short execution period. This means that the turnkey contractor and his assistants must have professional, competent resources available for a quick start-up.
