Description

The project involves the construction of approximately 32 linear meters of reinforced concrete sea wall at Coolmain, Kilbrittain, Bandon, Co.Cork. The wall is 2.2 meters high and has a tapered width of 600mm at it's base and 400mm at it's top. 165 cubic meters of engineering fill is to be placed behind the wall in the area between the wall and the public road. The existing wall collapsed in a storm in 2012 and it is adjacent to the local public cul-de-sac road which serves Coolmain beach.
