Wakefield Council invites tenders for the provision of the Targeted Impartial Information Advice and Guidance Service The Targeted Impartial Information Advice and Guidance Service (TIIAG) will discharge Wakefield Council’s duties set out in the Education and Skills Act 2008 enabling, encouraging and assisting young people to participate in education and training with specific emphasis being on identifying and supporting those 16 and 17 year olds who are not in education, employment or training including those up to 25 with special educational needs and disabilities and care leavers. As a consequence of some of the clarification questions that have been raised by potential bidders regarding this tender, the Council has made the decision to pause the procurement process to allow sufficient time for the technical requirements of the service to be further considered which may result is amendments being made to the specification and procurement documentation.
