Provision of Fire Risk Assessment Services

Ateb as a responsible landlord has an obligation in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 to carry out Fire Risk Assessment of all its blocks of flats and properties containing common parts with two or more dwellings. Ateb Group has appointed a provider to conduct independent fire risk assessments, reviews, and providing related advice on the portfolio of ateb’s housing stock for a period of 36 months. The scope of the contract will consist of an initial phase of Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) for each of ateb’s communal buildings and a small amount of commercial properties. The FRAs will be completed within a 12-month timescale from initial appointment. The assessments should identify significant fire risks within individual properties and be recorded in accordance with PAS 79 2012. The significant findings element will be also presented in excel spreadsheet format which will serve as a working document. Companies will also be members of a UKAS Accredited company or as an individual members of a UKAS Person Certification Scheme
