Q1517 - Car Park ANPR Cameras

Description

This is a Contract Award Notice announcing the Direct Award of Contract to Severnside Transportation Data Collection Ltd under the Wales Traffic Count and Speed Survey Framework Agreement (GoSafe) for ANPR cameras to be situated at 16 sites that will consist of public and private car parks to study parking patterns and behaviours for those visiting Bridgend Town Centre. The cameras will need to be situated for a period of 7 days and appropriately placed on highway land with some of the sites not being under BCBC ownership. BCBC are looking to retrieve data on when vehicles are visiting the town centre, the duration of stay, the volume of vehicles entering and exiting and the type of spaces used.
