Installation services of geological equipment

Description

The Chair of Hydrogeology of the TUM is a participant in the research project Geothermal Alliance Bavaria (GAB) funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts and is planning to install FOC in the geothermal project Schäftlarnstraße as part of the GAB subproject “Reservoir characterization — characterization, long-term behavior and engineering of the reservoir to minimize the discovery risk”. In a production well and optional an injection well of the Schäftlarnstraße geothermal project in Munich, the following shall be undertaken: — long-term monitoring and investigation of flow zones in aquifers, — determination of the temperature distribution in the borehole by pressure normalization, — determination of the temperature adjustment in the borehole to the surrounding reservoir rock, — investigation of conductive heat transport between the thermal water column in the borehole and the borehole vicinity, — micro seismic measurements, — VSP measurement, — continuous measurement of the in-situ pressure conditions in the reservoir. To facilitate this fiber optic DTS and DAS systems as well as local pressure measuring devices shall be installed in the entire well and optional wells as well as in the cemented surface casing.
