Canteen and catering services

Description

The purpose of this notice is to advise of the intention of Belfast Waterfront and Ulster Hall Ltd to enter into a direct agreement with Yellow Door (Belfast) Limited and the Mount Charles Group Limited for catering services. This is necessary for reasons of extreme urgency brought about by unforeseeable events. The catering services are required with immediate effect and as such the Contracting Authority does not have the time to undertake a full Procurement procedure. The need for this direct agreement is as a result of circumstances unforeseen and outside of the control of the Contracting Authority. For the avoidance of doubt, the Contracting Authority intends to enter into this direct agreement on a short-term emergency cover basis. The Contracting Authority endeavours to undertake a full procurement exercise as soon as reasonably possible.
