Preliminary detailed study (Avant-projet détaillé - APD) and preparation of the enterprise consultation file (Dossier de consultation des entreprises - DCE) for the project to restore the Kalaa Sghira – Khazzazia – Kairouan rail link

Description

The objective of the mission is to carry out all of the technical, economic, socio-economic, environmental and financial studies necessary for the drafting of an enterprise consultation file to enable the construction of the first section of line 11 connecting Kalâa Sghira to the city of Kasserine and serving the city of Kairouan, based on the preliminary draft study prepared by the Tunisian authorities. As part of Tunisia’s 13thFive-Year Plan for the Tunisian railway sector, the rail transport development programme includes the construction of a mixed electrified single-track rail service from the city of Kairouan (new station) to the city of Kalâa Sghira/Sousse via Khazzazia, about 52 km in length. This technical assistance is for: — the preparation of the preliminary detailed study (Avant-projet détaillé - APD) based on the updating, identification and final approval of the final scenario resulting from the preliminary draft study (Avant-projet sommaire - APS), established by the Tunisian authorities, and on the feasibility study of two multimodal interchange hubs around the train stations of Kairouan and Kalâa Sghira; — the preparation of the tender documents (Dossier d'appel d'offres - DAO) for the infrastructure and superstructure works phase, as well as for the control of these works.
