Supply, installation and maintenance of external ramps

Description

Fife Council is committed to enabling older people and people with a disability to remain in their own homes as long as possible and to maintain maximum independence. The requirement involves the provision of External Ramp Systems to Council and Private Renting Tenants and Owner Occupiers who having been assessed by the Social Work Service and who qualify for the installation of an External Ramp System. The work to be undertaken shall involve installing new galvanised steel ramp systems to relevant BS standard. A significant proportion will involve adapting and reinstalling ramp systems from a variety of sources which have been removed from other locations.
