3662/AMRC/MY/23 Project Management Training (8 Lots) FrameworkThe University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a Project Management Training (8 Lots) Framework on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire for their Training Centre. Scope of RequirementThis framework requires experts in Project management.The requirement is to support the AMRC teams in the development and delivery of an expanding suite of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) training courses on various aspects of project management.Tender Process and Documentation:This procurement is an EU open procedure conducted in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015The ITT can be downloaded by registering and expressing your interest on the University`s e-tendering system https://in-tendhost.co.uk/SheffieldIf you have any questions or comments in relation to this tender they must be submitted via the In-tend System, this can be accessed at ht Lot 1: Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) This course aims to provide the Fundamentals of Project Management. The PFQ is a knowledge-based qualification developed by APM and the course will provide: a fundamental awareness of project management terminology, a broad understanding of the principles of the profession and the knowledge to make positive contributions to any project. The course will take place at an AMRC facility over 2 consecutive days with the exam taking place on the second day. Lot 2: Project Management Qualification (PMQ) This course aims to provide the ability to demonstrate an understanding of how all elements of project management interact and how a project fits into a strategic and commercial environment. The PMQ is a knowledge-based qualification developed by APM. The course will take place at an AMRC Facility over 5 consecutive days with the exam taking place on day 5. Lot 3: Project Risk Certificate 1 This course is providing an overview of the effective management of risk. The course covers the benefits of managing project risks and the principles underpinning effective risk management, including the process and its application, organisational and control aspects. The course will take place at an AMRC facility over 2 consecutive days with an exam taking place on day 2. Lot 4: Project Risk Certificate 2 This course provides an understanding of the essential principles of project risk management and how to apply these principles in a case study scenario. The course uses project scenarios and case-studies supported by accelerated-learning techniques. The course will take place at an AMRC facility over consecutive 2 consecutive days with an exam taking place on day 2. Lot 5: Agile Fundamentals This course will help delegates to understand the principles of Agile and, in particular, Scrum. They will work in teams to produce a piece of work over a series of sprints. In addition to understanding the rules of Scrum, the team will also appreciate how Scrum can be blended with other complementary practices such as Kanban. Students will experience the value of cross-functional teams and the benefits that agile frameworks such as Scrum provide. The course will take place over 2 consecutive days at an AMRC venue. Lot 6: Earned Value Management Certificate This course provides an essential overview of the core principles behind the discipline of effective project control through earned value management techniques, required to deliver small-to-medium sized projects and an introduction to key documentation. This course will take place in 1 day with an exam to take at the end of the day. Lot 7: Microsoft Project Essentials Training Centre, AMRC, Catcliffe, Rotherham Lot 8: Microsoft Project Advanced This course will provide the tools to manage multiple projects side by side, share resources across projects and exchange project plan data as well as managing cost effectively. It will also provide advanced tracking techniques. The course will take place at an AMRC facility over 2 consecutive days.
